Ladakh - Zanskar Valley Tour is designed for those who wish to experience the true cultural and natural beauty of Ladakh. You will visit local markets, monasteries, valleys and drive over passes. Your tour starts from Leh where you will have one full day of sightseeing. You will visit Hemis Gompa, Thiskey Monoastery and Shey palace among others. You will cross Fatu-la (13,489 ft) pass on our way to Ramdung in Suru Valley.
Zanskar valley tour is the preeminent Himalayan cuddled up in the Znaskar valley. It is the most captivating places to stopover in Himalayas. The Zanskar valley is located in the course of Great Himalayan Range and Zanskar Range. Suru valley is one of the most stunning scenic destinations of Ladakh region. While on the way you can visit Rock statue of Lord Buddha of Kartse Khar dating back to the 7th century. You can also visit Rangdum monastery in Zanskar valley which is a secreted treasure for tourism to explore the Zanskar valley.
A great Himalayan snow crest are perceived on the way to Zanskar and the view of the admired Drang-Drung glacier gives you the prefect tongue-like glacier-view of the environments bare beauty. Itinerary
Day 1
FLY FROM KATHMANDU TO DELHI AND DELHI TO LEH.
We will fly from Kathmandu to Delhi and then connecting flight to Leh. As soon as you arrive in Leh, your attention is drawn by K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and Nun Kun on the horizon. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel. In the evening you will visit Leh Palace & Leh Market.
Stay overnight in Leh.
Day 2
SIGHTSEEING IN AND AROUND LEH.
After early morning breakfast, you will visit Hemis Gompa, which belongs to Drukpa Kagyu Orer of Tibetan Buddhism, Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace as well as the ancient capital of Ladakh.
Stay overnight in Leh.
Day 3
DRIVE FROM LEH TO SHAM VALLEY.
Today we will head towards Sham Valley which will take us 4 hours. We will follow the Krgil Highway along the Zanskar River. Our journey will ensure us a visit to Likir Monastery as well as Ridzong Monastery near Tingmosgang.

Day 4
DRIVE FROM TINGMOSGANG TO KARGIL.
Today we will head towards Kargil. En route we will have plenty of time to explore 11th century Lamayuru Monastery. We will also cross one of the highest passes in the region called Fatu-la (13,489 ft).

Day 5
DRIVE FROM KARGIL TO RANGDUM.
After early morning breakfast, we drive further up north. Our destination today is Rangdum, which is located 130 km south-east of Kargil, in the beautiful Suru Valley in Leh Distric., Rangdum at 3650m altitude features steep hills, pastures, streams and rocky mountains. Once in Rangdum we will visit Rangdum monastery, believed to be one of the oldest in the area.

Day 6
DRIVE FROM RANGDUM TO PADUM.
After breakfast we continue our drive to Padum, the ancient kingdom of Zanskar. En route you will visit Sani Monastery.

Day 7
SIGHTSEEING IN AND AROUND PADUM.
We will spend today sightseeing around Padum. First off we will visit the Karsha Monastery which is located on a steep mountainside. Our next stop is Bardan Gompa, a 17th century Buddhist monastery that belongs to the Dugpa-Kargyud monastic. We will also visit Zangla valley.
Stay overnight in Padum.
Day 8
DRIVE FROM PADUM TO RANGDU.
After breakfast, drive back to Rangdum.
Stay overnight in Rangdum.
Day 9
DRIVE FROM RANGDUM TO KARGI.
Today we continue to retrace our steps back to Kargil.
Stay overnight in in Kargil.
Day 10
KARGIL TO LEH.
Today we head back towards Leh. On our journey back we will arrange time to visit the Alchi Gompa which dates back to 11th century. We will also visit the 15th century palace of Basgo.

Day 11
FLY FROM LEH TO DELHI AND THEN DELHI TO KATHMANDU.
We will catch the early morning flight from Leh to Delhi and then a connecting flight to Kathmandu.
Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 12
FINAL DEPARTURE.
According to your international flight schedule, our staffs will transfer you to the Kathmandu International Airport for you to fly back home or your next desired destination.
