Nepal Tour and Trekking Program combines Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour with short Ghorepani – Poon Hill trek.
Our program begins with two day full sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley, a world heritage site in which you visit the Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar square along with temples of Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath and Boudhanath.
From Kathmandu you head off to Chitwan National Park, which is home to endangered species like Tiger, Rhinos and Elephants for bird watching, jungle safari and indigenous Tharu culture.
From Chitwan you drive to Pokhara Valley that is famous for beautiful lakes and splendid views of Himalayan peaks. Thereafter go for a short trek to the popular Poon Hill (3232m.) to see the magnificent sunrise and spectacular panorama of the Himalayas.
On your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be greeted with flower garlands/Khadas. Our representative will then take you to your hotel. If time prevails, you will visit office for paperwork.

On this day, following breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from hotel and take you for city sightseeing. You will visit popular world heritage monuments in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, and Pashupatinath. You will also visit Kopan Monastery. By late afternoon you will arrive back in your hotel.

After breakfast, the tour guide will pick you up from your hotel as you will head towards Patan, one of the three medieval cities of Kathmandu Valley. You will enjoy and revel at the many architectural wonders of Patan Durbar Square including Krishna Mandir, statue of Bhupatindra Malla, Golden Temple, Namo Buddha and so on. The experience of walking through the narrow cobbled alleyways and discovering the age-old culture and tradition of local people will take you back in time.
Later you will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, another world heritage site. Bhaktapur has much to offer to the tourists from medieval temples and statues to pottery square and museum. Nyatapola Temple, 55-windows palaces are examples of the unique Himalayan architecture that places it among the best destinations within Kathmandu Valley. Drive back to Kathmandu.

Bird Watching: The park is best for bird watching with over 450 species of exotic birds of domestic as well as migratory birds. Many are threatened, e.g. the Great pied hornbill, Bengal Florican, Peregrine falcon, lesser adjutant storks, etc. A bird watching trip will be a memorable experience.
Nature Walk: Our experienced naturalists will accompany you to the more specialized habitats. This is the ideal opportunity to explore and experience at closer quarters and beauty of the flora and fauna. The authority of the naturalist must be closely observed to obviate any risks from wildlife attacks.
Elephant Breeding Centre: This is the first Elephant breeding centre in Asia. You can see baby elephants socializing with their parents and other babies. This is managed by the government and its purpose is to provide care for elephants,.
Village tour: Excursion in Tharu village will grant you an exhilarating experience. Tharus are the indigenous inhabitant of the Terai. We offer guided cultural tours to meet the people and experience their traditional self-sufficient way of life.
Cultural Program: In the evening you can enjoy Tharu folk dance, a real cultural experience. Dressed in traditional colorful costumes Tharus perform unique rhythmic movements use their feet and sticks.

Elephant Bathing: Elephant bathing in the river is one of the most entertaining activities for tourists inside the national park..
Crocodile Walk: If you are fond of watching crocodile then you can participate in Crocodile. Led by a nature guide, you can visit the banks of Rapti and Narayani Rivers and watch crocodiles in their natural habitat.
Canoe Trip: You can enjoy canoe trip on the Rapti River or The Budhi Rapti River which borders the National Park. You will have the opportunity to spot rare birds, crocodiles and other animals.
After breakfast, go on a morning drive from Chitwan to Pokhara taking in the beauty of green hills, rivers and villages.
Pokhara is a tourists’ paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, Buddhist and Hindu temples along with mountains. You can see stunning views of towering Annapurna, Macchapuchre (Fishtail) and Dhaulagiri peaks reflected on Phewa Lake.

After early morning breakfast, drive from Pokhara (914m.) to Ulleri (2070m.) takes approximately 3 hours. Now, you start your trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2675m.) takes about 3 hours. While trekking, you will passes some villages and walk through dense forest of oak and rhododendron.

Poon Hill is a popular viewpoint to see sunrise/sunset and majestic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), and Lamjung Himal (6931m.).
After spending sometime in Poon Hill, hike back to Ghorepani for breakfast and then continue trekking towards Tadapani (2630m) which takes about four and half hours.

It is a very easy trek descending gently all the way through rhododendron and oak forests. This is one of the popular destinations for the bird lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village offering good views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail. Same day, you will drive to Pokhara that takes about 3 hours.

After having breakfast, you will go for sightseeing to International Mountain Museum, Mahendra Cave, Davi's Fall, Barahi Mandir, Chamera (Bat) Cave and enjoy boating on Phewa Lake.

En route, you will enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. If you choose to fly back to Kathmandu, it takes about 25 minutes. There are several flights from Kathmandu to Pokhara from morning to afternoon.
