Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by our airport representative. You will be greeted traditionally with flower garlands and then transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, you can take a stroll around and visit shops. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast on your second day, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a day of sightseeing in Kathmandu. You'll visit several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Bouddhanath and Pashupatinath Temple. On the third day, after breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a tour of Patan, one of the three medieval cities in the Kathmandu Valley. Explore the architectural marvels of Patan Durbar Square, such as Krishna Mandir, the statue of Bhupatindra Malla, and the Golden Temple. Strolling through the narrow, cobblestone streets and immersing yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the local people will transport you back in time. You may also take a side trip to Bungamati village for an authentic Newari cultural experience.
Later in the day, you will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bhaktapur offers an abundance of attractions, from medieval temples and statues to Pottery Square and various museums. The Nyatapola Temple and the 55-Window Palace are prime examples of the unique Himalayan architecture that makes this city one of the top destinations in the Kathmandu Valley. After an early morning breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about seven hours. Enjoy scenic views of mountains, hills, villages, and rivers along the highway.
Upon arrival to Pokhara, transfer to hotel. Stroll around Phewa Lake and surroundings on your own. Pokhara is a tourists’ paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with majestic mountains. You can observe views of Annapurna, Macchapuchre (Fishtail) and Dhaulagiri peaks reflected on Phewa Lake. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Early morning drive to Sarangkot (1600m) for sunrise and mountain views. In the afternoon you will go sightseeing to International Mountain Museum, Mahendra Cave, and Peace Pagoda Stupa. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Today you will visit Davi's Fall, Barahi Mandir, Chamera (Bat) Cave and enjoy boating on Phewa Lake Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
After breakfast, go on a morning drive from Pokhara to Chitwan taking in the beauty of green hills, rivers and villages. After arriving in Chitwan, you can have lunch followed by some rest. Later you can enjoy jungle activities in Chitwan National Park. In the evening enjoy cultural program performed by Tharu ethnic group, one of the indigenous communities of Terai. Canoe Trip
Take canoe trip on either Rapti River or Budhi Rapti River which border the National Park. The river is a prime habitat for two types of crocodiles, the Gharial and Mugger.
Bird Watching
For the bird watchers, the park is a paradise for over 450 species of exotic birds including domestic and migratory birds. Many of them are rare and threatened, including the Great pied hornbill, Bengal Florican, Peregrine falcon, lesser adjutant storks, etc.
Elephant safari or Jeep
Safari Enjoy elephant ride to view the wild life in action in their natural habitat. Those who are not interested in Elephant safari can take Jeep Safari instead. Jeep Safari includes a 4WD Jeep tour into deeper section of the park- such as Ox-bow lake- allowing you a chance to witness rare wildlife species.
Nature Walk
Go on a nature walk under the guidance of our experienced naturalists/botanists inside the park. This is the ideal opportunity to explore and experience and learn about the diversity of Himalayan flora and fauna.
Elephant Breeding Centre
Chitwan National Park is home to the first Elephant breeding centre in Asia. Observe elephant and their calves at close quarters. This centre is run by the government and its purpose is to provide a safe breeding habitat for elephants.
Village Tour
Excursion in Tharu village is a heart-warming experience you don’t want to miss. Tharus are the indigenous inhabitant of the inner Terai. Enjoy their cuisine, interact, and experience their traditional way of life.
Cultural Program
In the evening you will get an opportunity to participate in Tharu cultural folk dance. The unique stick dance performed by Tharu youth adorned in their traditional attires is the most popular activity among visitors.
Crocodile Walk The Park also offers a unique crocodile walk program wherein you will follow a trail along the bank of Rapti / Narayani River passing through grassland and forest to spot crocodiles out in the wild.
After breakfast, you can engage in some additional jungle activities. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Kathmandu takes about five hours. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
